Tony began his training career over 40 years ago with Arabian Horses in Southern California & has a successful show record which includes both halter & performance championship wins, Regional Top 5 & Scottsdale Top 10's in Halter.

Tony has shown horses in the AMHA Eastern Regionals, Julep Cup and the AMHA World Show, and AMHR Nationals.  His years of experience with the Arabians, has given him the ability to recognize & enhance outstanding qualities in the Miniatures with passion & conviction, Tony uses his talents to produce world champion caliber miniatures. Let us take your miniature to its fullest potential. Standing Ovation is a breeding & training facility nestled in the beautiful hills of Concord, Virginia, centrally located between Charlottesville, Roanoke & Richmond, Virginia.  Our mission is to breed refined, show quality miniatures that move with grace, display soundness & gentle temperament, & have the potential to produce future champions.

"TOPSIDER" (click on picture)

One of our stallions  "NFC EYGYPTIAN KINGS TOPSIDER" a 17 year young icon in the Miniature horse industry. Not only is he a son of the famous  Hemlock Brooks Eygyptian King, but "Topsider" is a World Champion himself  which he continues to pass along to his offspring. In Futurity Sires,"Topsider" is 8th in the World with his foals winning  $23,063.44 between 1994 and 2007.  We offer him to a limited number of select outside mares for 2009.                    "DARMOND  BOOGERMANS TOP BRASS" is an own son of Lazy N Boogerman we can't wait to see his first foals for us in 2009.

JANET LEWIS

Janet began her career with horses over 30 years ago acting as a Purchasing Agent for a Major Equine Retail Company, where she served 19 years.  Her compassion & love for horses grew as she served the chair of President of C.V.H.P.A. Horse Rescue from 1997 through 2006.  Drawing also from various veterinary trainings & experiences, Janet continues to share her compassion with miniatures as she trains , shows in Amateur and breeds at her facility. In her first year of showing she won the  AMHA Senior Mare 30 under Level 1 World Championship 2008.
